How this couple gets their 7 children ready every morning

Parents know it can be a struggle to get everyone in the family up and moving in the morning. There’s breakfast to be made, hair to be done, lunches to be packed, and snuggles to give.

Skyler and Jamie Scott are the proud parents of seven children. They have two older boys and five toddlers (three girls and two more boys).

Needles to say, the Scott family requires a little more planning and routine to get their family of nine going every morning. This video shows how much effort it takes just to start the day.

It begins with five bottles of vitamin D milk. Then the older boys help to wake up the three girl toddlers. Snuggles and smiles abound as the girls are unzipped from their fleece sleepers.

Jamie and her sons give her daughter their bottles and head upstairs to wake up the boys. The mom of seven explains that every morning is like waking up for Christmas. The special quality of having seven beautiful children never gets old.

Later, Skyler takes his oldest son to middle school. Though adolescence can be a time of great transition, the father and son talked about how wonderful it is to have five toddlers in the house who are learning so much. They also talked about having a nine-year-old boy and how they need to appreciate that he’s still a “kid” because he’ll be in middle school soon, too.

The video wraps up with Jamie and his friend visiting Costco at Christmas. Jamie talks about all of the holiday goodies and how much he enjoys going to Costco. It’s lovely to see this family’s love for each other and how much fun they have.
